This is a typical ceremonial G'au from Himalaya area worn for traveling and to protect the owner. As texts says, it is supposed to frighten hungry ghosts and evil spirits.Althought it is a collector's item ( even it has been made in the sixties) it is also wearable ...Splendid work (filigree, precision of the divinity and variety of the stones ... look at the astonishing lapis lazuli!)! The divinity is probably "sitted Bodhisattva" with all her attributes…
